Foxy rocking into new store

Due to expansion, one of the UK’s leading hair extensions specialists are spreading their wings and moving out of Metrocentre’s Red Mall.

But there’s no reason for fans of Foxy Hair Extension’s highly rated extensions to panic – they are moving to The Forum, just off the centre’s Green Mall, in a move which will see Foxy’s high levels of quality and service continued to be offered in the UK’s biggest shopping centre.

Foxy, which has specialists in all aspects of hair extensions from pre-bonded to sew-in weaves, works with both human and synthetic hair, will be moving into their new Green Mall location to be part of the ever-growing health and beauty area of the shopping mall within the next three months.

From Its humble beginnings 10 years ago with one store in Kingston Park, Foxy now has three stores with the latest opening earlier this year in Newcastle’s Ridley Place, where Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson was on hand to cut the ribbon.

Hayley Fox, who owns Foxy with husband Simon says of the recent expansion and move:

“We’ve gone from our one fitting shop in Kingston Park to three shops within the 10 years we’ve the Metrocentre and Kingston Park branches are struggling to cope with the demand for beautiful, luscious locks.  “Moving to the Green Mall will be better for all concerned, as it will allow our loyal clients and new ones to be able to access many of the beauty treatments in one place.”

Foxy’s team of six based in the Metrocentre will also make the switch from Red Mall to Green enabling them to keep the familiarity and personal touch that makes Foxy stand out among the rest as the premier provider of hair extensions in the North East.

Helen Atkinson, intu Metrocentre’s Marketing Manager concluded:  “We’re delighted that the experience of Foxy within intu Metrocentre has been such a success and I am sure that the new store will offer the same great service and range of products for our shoppers.”
